We have
had a large portion of our Explorer's age up into District
Firefighters. We also have gotten many new Explorers and are
always looking for new ones. Feel free to stop by the Stations
on Monday night to show your interest. Approach any of the
officers listed below, or call 845-677-9262 and we will get you connected to the
right people.
The District is currently
reviewing what the Explorers can and cannot do to protect the safety of
the Explorers. At this moment a motion was passed by the Board of
Fire Commissioners which prohibits the Explorers from responding to
calls or emergencies. A new policy is being created and will be
posted as soon as it has been approved.
Pictures have been added for Explorer Day, where everyone
practices being a firefighter and of some other drills that the
Explorers participated in.
